ABOUT STONE & INK
As far back as I can remember, I’ve loved rhinestones and all things sparkly. I grew up dancing competitively, and my dance teacher never let me go onstage without being absolutely covered in rhinestones. Fun fact: The hat in my audition photo below is from my jazz solo when I was 12. I’ve cherished it ever since the day my teacher, Stephanie, handed it to me. There’s just something about the way rhinestones catch the light that I’ll never get tired of. From that moment on, anything that could sparkle was getting covered in glue and rhinestones.
When I graduated college, I had to rhinestone the top of my cap completely solid, duh. My friends loved the idea and asked me to do the same for theirs. I posted a couple of timelapses on TikTok, and from there, I started rhinestoning for graduates all over the country. I’ve coached cheer for years and danced my entire life, and I’ve never let a team take the stage without some sparkle. Now, I get to bring my friends', family’s, and clients' visions to life—with as much sparkle as possible!
