Frequently Asked Questions
How much are graduation caps?
Partial caps start at $200 and solid start at $350. Pricing goes up depending on detail.
See Design/Pricing.
What is your graduation cap process?
Orders open at the beginning of each semester (spring/summer - January & fall/winter - August). Orders are taken through a Google Form that will be available on my social medias and website.
If you are not waitlisted, I will reach out within a week confirming your order and start the design process after your deposit is paid.
Once I confirm your design, I will send you dates I need your cap and final payment by.
When I receive your cap, I keep it safe until I begin to rhinestone. I usually send graduates their caps back at least a week and a half before their deadline. Please refrain from reaching out sooner as this can disturb the process.
Where can I find the grad cap application?
Both the guaranteed spot form and waitlist form can be found here.
When should I apply for a cap?
If you are graduating or need your cap done for mid February to July, apply for the spring/summer application. If you are graduating or need your cap done for August to early February, apply for the fall/winter application.
What methods of payment do you use?
I accept Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp, or by card via Stripe.
Do you do payment plans?
Yes! If you would like to pay for your cap in payments, let me know and I will keep track of each payment. However, payments can only be made using Zelle, Venmo, or Cashapp.
If you are paying in payments, I suggest pushing your deadline back as much as you can to ensure you have enough time to fully pay off your cap. I will not ship your cap back to you until I receive your full payment.
How does shipping work?
I require my graduates to ship their cap to me at least a month before your deadline. The cost of shipping your cap to me is on you. If you need a graduation cap, I recommend the brand GraduationMall on Amazon. Once I confirm your design/price, I will send you details to ship your cap directly to me.
Shipping your cap back after it is completed is included in your cap price if you are located in the US. After your cap is complete, I will reach out and confirm the shipping address is accurate and send you a tracking number. See my Deadlines page for more information regarding shipping.
International shipping is offered to Mexico, Canada, the UK, and Australia. International shipping is not included. A $50 shipping fee will be added to all international orders.
Once I have shipped a cap, the package is in the shipping carriers’ possession. I do not have control over a package being undeliverable/lost. If you have a problem with your package, please reach out to me and your shipping carrier.
How long does it take to do my cap?
A cap can take between 4 to 16 hours. However, I do caps in the order of deadlines, not when I receive them. Some graduates have deadlines a month after the application opens while others have a deadline 5 months later.
Can I change my deadline after my design is confirmed?
Unfortunately, no. I try my best to accommodate any changes but most of the time I am unable to change deadlines due to my obligations of other graduates’ deadlines.
Please book your graduation pictures after the deadline you submit for your cap. I cannot guarantee I will be able to accommodate any requests to changes in deadlines.
Can I change my design after it is confirmed?
It depends. I am unable to change your design if you want a different center image or color change on a large area of your cap. Once your design is confirmed, I am unable to accommodate any large changes. If it is a simple change, such as adding your name or year to the corners of your cap, I can definitely add that on for you; just be aware that add-ons are an extra fee. See Design/Pricing.
Can you copy a cap another artist made?
No. I pride myself in my original work but I will go above and beyond to help you create a unique design for your special day!
How fast do applications fill up?
Spring/summer graduation cap applications fill up very quickly! Fall/winter grad cap applications fill up a little slower; however, if you know you want your cap done, apply right away! If you are unable to snag a spot on the guaranteed form, the waitlist form will open immediately after.
Should I send my tassel with my cap?
It’s up to you! If you send it, I will attach it to your cap for you. If you decide not to send it, I send simple instructions for how to attach it to your cap.
Where do you get your supplies?
Unfortunately, I do not share my vendors/suppliers information. I have spent countless hours and money researching and working with my suppliers.
Can you squeeze me in? I’ll pay extra!
Unfortunately, I cannot accept more orders once my waitlist has closed. If I have any cancellations/openings, the only applications I accept are from my waitlist.
