Design & Pricing

Pricing varies depending on your design. I understand the financial struggles of a student so I try to keep the price as reasonable as possible with my time and the cost of supplies in mind. I am extremely meticulous when working on these graduation caps taking anywhere from 4 to 16 hours on one cap.

Partially rhinestoned caps start at $200. Solid rhinestoned caps start at $350. Pricing goes up depending on the detail, size, color, and number of rhinestones in the design. Keep in mind you will need to provide your cap; see DEADLINES page for more details.

Partial Cap

Starting at $200

Solid Cap

Starting at $350

Please do not apply for a grad cap from me if the price does not work for you. I do not want anyone to financially struggle to pay for their grad cap. Past graduates have done payment plans up until their payment deadline. If this works for you but you are still worried about the payment, I would suggest picking a later date to give you more time to pay your cap off. If this does not work for you, I am more than happy to send you other grad cap artists that have more affordable and quicker options.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your spot and start your design process. Your deposit goes towards your final cap payment. Payment info will be sent after I accept your graduation cap application. Payment options accepted are Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp, or card via Stripe invoice. I will not start on your mock-up until your payment is submitted.

Once your design has been finalized, I will give you a date when your cap must be shipped by and payment must be submitted to ensure you get your cap back by your deadline. Your design cannot be altered after it is finalized.

  • Complex

  • Simple

  • Complex

  • Simple

Designs with more colors and elements are considered more complex because I need a larger variety of rhinestone colors and more time dedicated to these caps. Simpler designs take less time and inventory so they are priced lower.

Please be as detailed as possible for your cap design. This is so the design process is quicker and easier. If you are hitting a roadblock, give me a couple details of what you think you want included on your cap. Think logos, symbols for your major/minor, sorority/fraternity letters, initials, etc.

If you are wanting a quote, it must be 10 words or less and must be your only design aspect, taking up the whole cap; this is so that your grad cap can still be legible from afar. School logos are usually my clients’ first choice. If you are in high school, I recommend using your high school or future college’s logo.

I do not help you come up with a design. Once you submit a description of what you want, I will send you mock-ups with different layouts/options. From there you are able to play around with the layout and design of your mock-up.

Please be very sure of the gist of your design when applying. I have had graduates change the logo of their design multiple times before deciding on one; this can take anywhere from a week to three weeks to confirm. I’ve also had graduates come extremely prepared and confirm their design in less than a day. If you are unsure of what logo/design you might want, I highly suggest sending me the ones you’re indecisive of so I can be prepared when I start your design consultation.

Design Reference Examples

You can upload images on your application to help me better understand your design. I highly suggest and greatly appreciate sending pictures in with your application. Above are some examples of what past clients have sent for their reference pictures. Many clients have used PicCollage, Canva, or just drawing their design out to help speed up the design process. If you are wanting a school logo, please find a clear picture from your school’s website. Many schools have a page on their website where students are able to download different file types of their logos. If you send a blurry picture, I will not be able to digitize it for your cap.

Please do not send me another grad cap artist’s work for reference. I will not replicate work that is not mine. Look through my Instagram or TikTok for inspiration to help you with your design!

  • Clear

  • Clear AB

All solid caps without a “background color change” come with Clear or Clear AB rhinestones as the background color. They both shine beautifully; clear doesn’t reflect as many colors as clear AB so it’s more of a true white/silver color. If you are not wanting a change in background color, please include which clear color you would like on your cap. I will confirm this color after your design is finalized.

Design Add-ons

Loose Fabric on Cap

Some caps are made better than others meaning the cardboard is strong, the fabric is taut, and the button is stationary. I have had some caps that have come bent, with loose fabric, or a button that spins with the slightest touch. These are problems that I try to work around, especially with loose fabric on a cap. Caps with loose fabric make laying rhinestones flat difficult. If your cap has loose fabric, I try my best to pin it as flat as possible before rhinestoning. Sometimes no matter how many pins I use, there are still folds in the fabric. No worries! Most of the time you can’t even tell. This is just a warning in case you notice ripples under the rhinestones. Below are some examples of previous caps with loose fabric.

New Fall 2022 Change

I want your cap to be as unique as possible to you while you stand out at graduation! Beginning in Fall 2022, I will not repeat the same design/logo for the same school each semester. If you know the design you want might be a common one, I highly suggest applying as soon as I open the application, as it’ll be first come, first serve. If you apply with a design someone has already submitted, I will require you to change at least one element in your design. This could be adding your name/year, changing the background color, etc.
